A customer from the National Health Service (NHS) recently approached us with a request to install a Vent to Atmosphere ducted system within a newly designated working area. This system was deemed necessary to ensure a safe and healthy environment by effectively removing any potential contaminants from the vicinity. To facilitate this, a compact inline fan was included in the setup to aid in the extraction process, ensuring that any pollutants were promptly and efficiently drawn away from the user.
In addition to the ventilation system, the customer specifically requested the implementation of a fixed wall extraction mechanism. This feature served to further enhance the effectiveness of the ventilation setup by directing the extracted air outside the building. To achieve this, the ventilation ducts were meticulously installed to channel the contaminated air away from the workspace, ultimately promoting a cleaner and safer environment for the occupants. The culmination of this setup was the termination of the extraction system with a jet cowl, which provided an efficient outlet for the extracted air while also minimizing any potential backflow or disruption.
By incorporating both the Vent to Atmosphere ducted system and fixed wall extraction, we were able to fulfill the customer’s requirements for a comprehensive and efficient ventilation solution. This tailored approach not only addresses the immediate need for contaminant removal but also ensures long-term effectiveness and reliability. The inclusion of features such as the inline fan and jet cowl termination demonstrates our commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions that prioritise safety and well-being in the workplace.
