Under CoSHH Regulations, most LEV systems must be thoroughly examined and tested at least every 14 months. Some higher-risk processes may require more frequent testing — for example, processes involving certain carcinogens or substances with a maximum exposure frequency specified in the relevant Workplace Exposure Limit (WEL).
